Agasthyakoodam

Agasthyarkoodam is a 1,868-meter (6,129 ft)- tall crest inside Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Kerala in the Western Ghats of South India. The pinnacle lies inside Kerala close to the outskirt with Tamil Nadu.[1] This pinnacle is a piece of the Agasthyamala Biosphere Reserve which lies on the fringe between the Indian conditions of Kerala (in Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram locale) and Tamil Nadu (in Kanyakumari area, Tirunelveli region). The enduring Thamirabarani River starts from the eastern side of the range and streams into the Tirunelveli region of Tamil Nadu.

Agasthyarkoodam is a journey community for fans of the Hindu sage Agastya, who is thought to be one of the seven rishis (Saptarishi) of Hindu Puranas. The Tamil dialect is thought to be an aid from Agasthya. There is a full-sized statue of Agathiyar at the highest point of the pinnacle and the lovers can offer pujas themselves.
